The swing was delivered in good time. However, I was very disappointed when I put it together. It is not very stable. It would be suitable for small children, but not for any weight over 100 pounds. Very flimsy.
Good value, but...

This porch swing is a good value for the price. However, do yourself a favor. When you do the assembly reinforce the seat with screws. They used brad nails to put this together and after a few days of sitting on it the brad nails came loose and the swing nearly collapsed under me. I don't know why they didn't use screws to hold this thing together. It is a simple modification and at some point your swing will fail it's just a matter of time unless you reinforce it.

This is a nice swing for the price. Delivery was very good as I was not located very far from where it was shipped from.
Great value, well constructed

I purchased my swing at a local hardware store. It came boxed flat with some assembly required. Very easy to assemble. I chose to paint mine to match the trim of my house. The product came already sanded so it was ready to paint. Mine was purchased to replace a swing hanging from a fixture in my yard. The old swing seemed to be exactly the same make and model, and it came with my house I purchased 15 years ago. The old swing looked old already when I bought the house, so it survived pretty well.
Maximum capacity for this swing is 500 pounds. |
good swing, easy to assemble

The swing is great, but if I had to do it over, I would buy something a little more sturdy. Maybe something made of thicker boards.
