Question by mmejasper: Where can I find a large box-edge tufted cushion?

I saw one that was 72″ x 28″ for 0 in Urban Outfitters. They called it a “Floor Cushion” and sold separate wood platforms to go with it. I have used all the possible terms I could think of, but I have not been able to another cushion this size. Does anybody know of the correct name to search for? I could try to make it, too, but would the cost of the materials overrun 0? I am hoping to get price as low as possible, and I need it to be comfortable enough to fall asleep on.

Check your local fabric and notions stores. If they don’t have the size you want they’d probably cut a piece to your specifications. You could also search for local salvage houses and discount stores to try to find the best price. Have you tried ‘foam rubber’ and ‘latex foam’?
